The resulting color fading, subtle bleaching, and softening effects from this physical abrasion are irreplaceable by chemical washing. This gives each piece a unique, natural vintage feel and signs of wear, perfectly replicating the “unfinished” aesthetic and industrial beauty sought after by the original runway designs. From the custom-woven and dyed 280g combed cotton base, to the hand-printed paper-like silkscreen using special pastes, and finally to the unique aged texture brought by salt aging—these three steps are interconnected, forming a complete and complex imitation process chain. Each choice in this process represents a complete rejection of “fast-food” products and a respect for and restoration of the high-fashion production process.
